Miss Galaxy Pagant - Round 6 - Eternal Sedna

Entry for the last round of the Miss Galaxy Pagant; Eternal Sailor Sedna

She has a new attack, Absolute Sub Zero and an even better conection to the North Star.

Now about Sedna's proudest moment:

Prologue:
Sedna and her friends belonged to a new tema of Sailor Senshis, a dwarf planet team. Eventhough Sedna wasn't very happy about this, she grew closer with her teammates and finally accepted her fate. The team had to face a lot of problems, one is that Sedna signed a contract with Queen Persephone, their enemy, to save the life of her friend Xaron.
Because of this she was banned from the team and had to join the court of Queen Persephone. But she and Xaron were always searching for ways to help her old team. Unfortunately time was running against them, because Queen Persephone (Queen of the underworld) provoked a world war in order to kill as many people as possible to create a massive army to face King Xerxes (King of the Black Moon, who was approaching the earth), her former lover who had betrayed her and had shattered her starseed.
Just at the edge of the end of the world Xaron tells Sedna and her former team a very important detail:
They all are carrying a piece of Queen Persephone's starseed. Only because of this, they, the dwarf planet senshis, were able to be reborn and in order to save the world, the pieces has to be returned.
The Phoenix, guardian of the dwarf planet team, remembers also a prophecy: "Eternal ice can bind together what belongs together."
Both, Xaron and Phoenix, give their powers to the dwarf planet senshis to wake their true powers.
Sedna and her friends join forces to unleash Sedna's most powerfull attack: Absolute Sub Zero...




Hot tears were running down Enya's cold cheeks. All her friends were there. All her friends were counting on her. She had to do it.
She had to freeze the world to save the world. Sweet irony. A fear was crawling up her neck. She didn't want to die. She didn't want her friends to die. But her life was a borrowed one...
Her eye met with Xaron; she couldn't judge his expression... but at least she now understood why Xaron never called her by her name. Because there was always just a Sedna. No Enya.
No time for tears...
Sedna raised her head and faced the starry sky.
"Absolute Sub Zero!"

The next thing Sedna remembert was warmth. A warm and fuzzy feeling. Tranquility.
When a hand touched hers she reluctantly opened her eyes and was looking in the smilling face of a black togate woman.
"Thank you, Sedna." the voice was vivid and soft like a flapping butterfly. "Thank you so much."
Sedna blinked. Who was this woman? Could it be...?
"Queen Persephone?"
-"Yes, that's my name." The woman smiled. "And thanks to you and your friends I'm finally myself again."
The girl didn't say a word but started to sob. So she was dead? The world burried under eternal ice?
Suddenly Persephone took her head in her hands and place her forehead on Sedna's.
"It's okay. Listen to me; you and your friends did good. You did the right thing. Everything is fine. This world will sleep for 1000 years and rise again to a new morning. And so shall you. I'm Queen Persephone. I'm the Life and the Death. I can not offer much but a new life for you and your friends. A peacefull life to live. With those you had to leave behind. With the possibilty to reach your dreams."
The queen gave Sedna a gently kiss on the forehead.
"Now rest my dear Enya. Sleep and dream. We will not meet again, but I'll never forget about your sacrifice.
Thank you and farewell."
The queen disappeared  in a dust of stars  and left the confused girl. Then, all of sudden, Sedna giggled.
Everything was allright.
She had done the right thing. The right thing...
Slowly, she closed her eyes and was embraced by sleep.
"Let's meet again..." was her last thought. "All of you... Xaron, Huya, Ixion, Eris, Chiron, Phoenix."
And with a smile she started to dream about her friends and the day they would meet again...





In my oppinion, this was Sedna's most proud moment, which, funny to say, happened pretty much like this in our RPG.
She had to do what she was most afraid about, but it was the one and only thing she could do.
Hearing from Persephone that this was just fine and good, she surely felt proud.
And I quite like the thought that while the girls sleep they will meet in their dreams.


So much for the Miss Galaxy Pagant. I've joined this competition when I've started studying, in order to draw at least one picture a month. It became two, because I had joined with Sailor Neti and Sailor Sedna. I didn't expect to get both into competition, I just joined with two, to run at least one round. Surprisingly, I've made it to semifinals with both of them and to final with my dear Sedna, who has finally an eternal form.
So, thanks to lilYumi-chan for hosting this competition and for the many different themes. It was really fun to draw all thid.
And thanks to everyone I've met arround thiscompetition. You guys established a relxed and friendly community, it was nice to work at your sides.
Good luck to all the other finalists, I'm eager to see the final result.
